Conflict, Global Storm moves the Conflict series into the 21st century, amid the contemporary theme of terrorism. The game is head and shoulders above previous parts. In Conflict Global Storm, the four soldiers from Conflict Desert Storm have been promoted and now form an anti-terrorist unit, which works all over the world.
This creates a very wide diversity of environments: desert and dense jungles we saw earlier in the series, but now polar regions, urban environments and rural environments are also shown in great detail.
